What is The BIG BUILD?
The BIG BUILD is a £2.2M project to construct a new, flood free clubhouse for Keswick Rugby Club and provide a modern venue with outstanding facilities for the community of Keswick.
Work started in May 2024 and is due for completion in March 2025.
The BIG BUILD
The current Clubhouse, which was built in 1958 with local help, was designed to cater for one senior men’s team; now there are 16 different teams catering for 3 to 60-year-olds. So, despite some modifications over the years, it has now come to a point where the 180+ senior men and women players, together with the 200+ junior boys and girls, have outgrown the building, and desperately need a new, suitably designed, facility.
